It's a joint venture supported by the Dutch government, with cooperation from the Government of Uttarakhand to produce and process the planting material of flowers like lilium, gladioli, zantedesia, chrysanthemum and tulips in India to subsitue the import of the various flower bulbs with a vision to cater the demand of the Indian cut-flower growers as well as exports. All the machinery and technology has been imported from the Netherlands. Dutch experts come to the Bhimtal facility regularly for training purposes and controll of quality of the production. The facility has a capacity of 20 million flowerbulbs a year. With the available tissue culture facility in action, we can produce 2 million plants per year in the tissue culture laboratorium. The company is a single window to supplement and provide the infrastructure for greenhouses/planting material/training/ and support in marketing as well. We are also in progess to have the firm tie-ups with Internaltional buyers to give a strong forward linkage to the growers. We are also supporting the poor farmers of the hills and coperative society to achieve the objective.
